Lost a Bank of Georgia card? Use the bank's block route
Use Bank of Georgia's published Mobile Bank or chat route to block a missing card, then ask the bank what to do next.

If a Bank of Georgia card is missing, the bank's published Mobile Bank help describes a direct block path: open Mobile Bank, choose the card and select the block function. The bank also publishes a chat route that handles card blocking and card orders. Use Bank of Georgia's official app or website, not a contact link sent by an unknown person.
Block through the bank's own channel
Bank of Georgia's 2023 help article says a customer who loses or has a card stolen can select the card in Mobile Bank and block it from its functions. Its 2025 chat guide describes chat in Mobile Bank, Internet Bank and on the bank's website, and says customers can block or unblock a card through chat. The chat article says a digital assistant responds first and can hand the conversation to an operator when needed.
The bank's help pages have publication dates, and app labels can change. Follow the current prompts in the official channel and ask the bank to confirm the card's status. If you cannot access the app, the bank's official site lists chat as another published route; confirm the current contact option there.
Keep the incident record
- Record when you reported the missing card and which bank channel you used.
- Save the bank's confirmation or case reference if it provides one.
- Ask whether the card should stay blocked, be replaced or be handled another way. The public help pages describe block/unblock controls but do not establish the next step for every loss or theft case.
- Review the transaction information available through the bank and raise any payment you do not recognize with the bank as a separate claim.
The same Mobile Bank article describes an unblock option if the card is found. Finding the plastic does not tell you whether its details were copied or whether an unfamiliar payment was authorized. Ask the bank which action applies to your case before using an unblock control.
Handle an unrecognized payment separately
Blocking the card and disputing a payment are separate steps. If you do not recognize a payment, ask the bank to open its claim process and keep the block confirmation and transaction details together. Do not post full card details, passwords or verification codes in a public message.
