Choose your visit around the reason for going: Shatili's fortified highland settlement or Roshka Rocks. GNTA locates Pshav-Khevsureti in Dusheti Municipality, Mtskheta-Mtianeti. The park portal lists both alongside other distinct settlements and landforms, setting up a choice between connected architecture and a glacial landscape.

Choose a fortified-settlement focus

The park portal names Shatili, Mutso, Ardoti and Khakhabo among medieval cultural heritage places. UNESCO's Tentative List entry names Shatili as a highland village in the Arghuni gorge, on the northern Greater Caucasus slope at about 1,400 metres. Georgia submitted the nomination in 2007 under cultural criterion (v); this is a Tentative List entry, not an inscription on the World Heritage List.

UNESCO describes Shatili as medieval-to-early-modern fortified dwellings of stone and mortar that served both residential and defensive functions. About 60 towers and flat-roofed houses form a terraced chain adapted to the steep relief. The nomination also notes vertical zoning and multifunctional use. Read the place as a connected settlement, not a single tower photo stop.

Mutso, Ardoti and Khakhabo are other named settlements in the park overview. Treat them as separate heritage stops; the source pages do not define one route connecting them.

Choose Roshka for a glacial-landform focus

The park portal describes Roshka Rocks as glacial erratics transported during the Pleistocene and locates them near Roshka village. It lists the rocks separately as a Natural Monument and gives several block dimensions, with one listed at about 25 metres in length. This is a group of transported boulders, not a built monument. GNTA describes Tanie Lake as heart-shaped, another distinct landscape focus. The portal records individual block dimensions, including Split Rocks at 25 by 10 by 11 metres.

Plan around the place you selected

The official pages do not establish a current connection among Shatili, Mutso, Ardoti, Khakhabo, Roshka and Tanie Lake. Choose one anchor, then ask the park visitor contact about its approach for your date. Do not infer road opening, pass status, transport schedule or journey time from an attraction list.
