Georgian Railway: luggage and assistance questions
Check the luggage rule and request the right mobility assistance for the exact train and service type.

Georgian Railway separates mainline, regional and international services. Identify the service on your ticket before applying a baggage rule. Its FAQ describes a mainline hand-luggage allowance and a size limit. Oversized or heavy items follow separate conditions, so check the current terms before bringing equipment.
Check special items
- Ask whether a bicycle, stroller, wheelchair or other equipment must be packed or declared.
- Check the operator’s rule for pets, containers and travel documents.
- Ask where the item travels and whether it uses a passenger seat.
Georgian Railway’s FAQ describes an adapted environment on Stadler Kiss trains and asks passengers needing assistance to notify the operator in advance. Confirm the train type, station assistance point and request confirmation for your trip. Do not assume every train or station has the same equipment.
Keep the operator’s response with your ticket. If the train changes, ask whether your confirmed arrangement still applies.
