A bath visit starts with a format decision. Georgia's tourism authority describes both shared public bathing and private rooms in Abanotubani, Tbilisi's bath district. A private room is a booked space for your party, but the facilities differ by bathhouse and even by room. Do not treat every blue-tiled facade or domed roof as the same offer. Decide whether you want a simple hot pool, a cold pool too, or a sauna, then compare the operator's current room list.

Find the district, then the actual entrance

Abanotubani lies in Old Tbilisi around the hot springs, near the Leghvtakhevi waterfall route. The tourism authority describes its bath buildings and the neighbourhood's long bathing tradition. For a visit, the exact address matters more than the history alone. Chreli Abano lists 2 Abano Street. Royal Bath lists 1 Ioseb Grishashvili Street. Keep the chosen venue's own address and reservation details with you, rather than navigating to the district label and hoping to find the right door.

Read the room specification

Chreli Abano publishes a room-by-room booking list. Its compact rooms have a hot sulfur pool. Other rooms add cold water, a Finnish sauna, a larger rest area or a higher guest capacity. Royal Bath publishes five rooms. Its first three list hot and cold pools, while Rooms 2 and 3 also name a sauna. The larger Royal Bath room list includes a room for up to eight people. These are meaningful differences for a couple, a family or a group. Match the named room and allowed group size to your party before comparing the final cost.

Separate bathing from extra services

The tourism authority describes the kisa scrub as a traditional part of a visit and says massages or scrubs add to the bill. Chreli Abano lists kisa and spa services separately from bath rooms. If a scrub is the reason for your visit, ask the bathhouse how to add it, who provides it, how long the combined session lasts and what the current total covers. A room listing alone does not establish that a scrub, towel or other accessory comes with your reservation. Do not carry a general tourism-board price range into a specific venue's checkout.

Use the venue's booking route

Chreli Abano offers an online search by date, time, duration and number of guests. Its homepage says same-day online reservations are unavailable, so contact the venue directly if you are asking about today. Royal Bath shows rooms and contact details on its site. The page checked did not provide a complete room checkout, so use its direct contact route to establish the session. In both cases, confirm the precise room, duration, total, extras and arrival instructions before treating the visit as arranged. Times and available rooms depend on your date.

The public-bath option is a different format. The national tourism page establishes that shared facilities exist in Abanotubani, but the two venue pages above document private rooms. If you want shared bathing, identify a bathhouse with a current official public-bath offer and confirm its entry rules directly. Do not infer a shared entry ticket from a private-room catalogue.
