Tsageri Municipality publishes separate one-day and two-day sightseeing sequences. Treat them as choices of focus, not a timed itinerary: the page does not establish current opening, road or transport conditions.

For one day, combine town heritage with one landscape stop

The municipal one-day list combines the Lado Asatiani house museum and Green Lake with St Maximus Monastery, the Green Theatre and Tsageri History Museum. The municipality places the monastery near town and identifies the Green Theatre as an open-air amphitheatre in the Tskhenistskali valley. This gives the day a clear mix of poetry, landscape and local history without turning the list into a promise about visit duration.

For two days, separate the western and village interests

The municipality’s first day list adds Khvamli Mountain and the open-air archaeological site at Dekhviri. Its second day moves through the history museum and Lailashi, then names Sairme Pillars, Gvirishi Waterfall and a Zanduri house. Lailashi’s listed stops include a synagogue, Armenian church ruins, a pool and a boulevard. Choose a smaller cluster that matches your interests; the municipality’s source does not confirm current access at each stop.

Give the museum its own purpose

The municipality’s 2024 report records 5,977 museum objects across geological and palaeontological material, Stone Age through medieval collections, coins, ethnography, church objects and original photographs by Dimitri Ermakov. It also reports an archive of 8,824 items and said a digital version was available to people researching Lechkhumi history.
