Tbilisi National Park: cycling, Saguramo Ridge and Sabaduri Forest
Compare cycling options, the ridge route near Zedazeni and a forest visit, then confirm a specific trail with the park administration.

Tbilisi National Park's official pages distinguish cycling routes by difficulty from a named pedestrian and horse-riding trail across Saguramo Ridge. One offers difficulty categories; the other gives a place sequence and heritage landmark.
Read the park's broad footprint
The Agency of Protected Areas describes the park across the Saguramo-Ialno ranges on the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus. It gives an elevation range of 600 to 1,700 metres and an area of about 21,036 hectares, spanning Saguramo, Gldani, Martkopi, Gulele and Gardabani. The Agency lists its administration in Mtskheta, Saguramo. The park label therefore covers a broad area, not one compact trail.
Compare the published route types
The National Parks portal groups three bicycle routes as simple, medium and difficult. Its overview does not name the routes or give their track profiles.
For a pedestrian or horse-riding focus, the portal names Zedazeni-Didveli-Mamkoda. It associates the route with Saguramo Ridge and Zedazeni Church, dated to the seventh or eighth century. This is the place-specific route in the published overview.
The route types point to different outings: the cycling listings are difficulty categories without individual names, while Zedazeni-Didveli-Mamkoda is a named corridor with a church landmark. If your group wants both a ride and the ridge walk, plan them as separate choices until the administration confirms a connection.
The park overview also highlights Sabaduri Forest and lists picnic and camping areas. These are published alternatives to a trail outing, not a promise of present facility availability. Check the exact area before building a stop around it.
The published pages do not describe a combined loop from the cycling network to the Saguramo Ridge trail. If a plan depends on linking those activities, treat that connection as an open question for the administration.
Ask the administration about the named trail
The official visitor guide instructs people to contact Tbilisi National Park Administration before visiting a trail. Give the office your chosen route and activity, then confirm the start point and date-specific access.
Use the Tbilisi National Park Administration profile for the official trail directory and approach information.
Tbilisi National Park Administration
The Agency of Protected Areas lists the Tbilisi National Park Administration as the local administrative unit for the park.
