Museum status
Oni Municipality reported on 11 June 2026 that collection transfer, conservation and exhibition installation were underway in the new museum building. Its update gave no public opening date or visitor arrangements. Read the dated notice and look for newer official information before planning admission.
Collection context
Georgia Travel dates the Oni Local Lore Museum to 1948 and names a nineteenth-century manuscript of The Knight in the Panther’s Skin as its first exhibit. These historical collection notes do not establish the present exhibition layout.
